Cavus Foot Deformities

Cavus foot is a condition where the arch of the foot is abnormally high, causing excessive pressure on the ball and heel of the foot. This deformity can lead to pain, instability, calluses, ankle sprains, and even stress fractures.
It may be inherited or associated with neurological disorders such as Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease.
Treatment options depend on the severity and cause and may include custom orthotics, bracing, physical therapy, or surgical correction to restore proper alignment and function.
