Gout

stockphoto01.png

Gout is a form of inflammatory arthritis caused by a buildup of uric acid crystals in the joints—most commonly in the big toe.

It often comes on suddenly, with intense pain, redness, swelling, and warmth in the affected area. Gout attacks can be triggered by diet, dehydration, or other health conditions.

At Kiddy Foot & Ankle Clinic in Kennewick, Dr. Kiddy provides expert diagnosis and treatment for gout flare-ups and long-term management. Treatment may include medication, lifestyle guidance, and prevention strategies to reduce pain and avoid future attacks.
