Shin Splints

stockphoto01.png

Shin splints, or medial tibial stress syndrome, cause pain along the inner edge of the shinbone, often triggered by repetitive stress from running, jumping, or sudden increases in physical activity.

They’re common in athletes, dancers, and anyone who spends a lot of time on their feet.

At Kiddy Foot & Ankle Clinic in Kennewick, Dr. Kiddy provides expert care for shin splints through proper diagnosis, gait evaluation, custom orthotics, activity modification, and targeted therapy.

His goal is to relieve pain, correct underlying issues, and prevent future flare-ups.
