Fibula Fracture

stockphoto01.png

The fibula, a crucial bone on the outside of the lower leg, plays a significant role in supporting the leg's structure. A fibula fracture may happen from a direct blow, a sports injury, or an ankle twist. Symptoms include pain, swelling, and difficulty bearing weight. Treatment ranges from casting or bracing for simple breaks to surgery for more severe or displaced fractures.
