Talus Fracture

stockphoto01.png

The talus is a small bone in the ankle that connects the leg to the foot, allowing for motion. A talus fracture typically results from high-impact injuries such as car accidents or falls from height. Due to the talus's limited blood supply, healing can be slow, and complications such as arthritis are possible. Treatment often requires surgery to restore ankle alignment.
